The name is pronounced "mno-go-search." The word "mnogo" means "many" in Russian; the project was part of the Mnogo.ru portal.

• Indexes keywords, descriptions, and user-defined META tags.
  
• Indexing can specify weighting for page structures.
  
• Indexes HTML, XML and TXT files. External file format converts for PDF, PostScript, Microsoft Word, etc.
