Coveo Search, rebranded from Copernic Enterprise Search, is designed for research-heavy intranets, offering content extaction and summarization.

Features

Scales to millions of documents.
Uses advanced summarization and concept extraction technologies to improve relevance.
Gathers documents via HTTP crawling.
Supports HTML pages, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, Rich Text Format, plain text, Word Perfect, Outlook emails and attachments, Zip archives and XML.
Coveo Enterprise Search for Microsoft SharePoint Portal Technologies indexes and retrieves content in MS Sharepoint, there is also a filter for Lotus Domino WebAccess (iNotes) and options for writing custom document converters.
Access control using Windows domains and Active Directories.
Enforces document-level security for IIS-based intranets through mappings between the local Web site addresses and their corresponding folders on the network file servers.
Secure Search out of the box using built-in integration of Windows file access permissions (NTLM/NTFS/Active Directory file-level security, IIS web server, and Microsoft Exchange folder-level security.)
ASP/COM/.NET/VBScript APIs with full documentation for integration into existing Web pages and IT systems.

Built-in parametric searching for specific custom Metadata and XML data.
