SearchTools Survey - July 2002

Server Location and Search

Installing a site search tool is easiest on a local server. Administrators working on co-located and hosted servers have a harder time installing site searching, and are significantly less likely to do so.

In the past year, we've seen more people using looking for search engines for CD-ROM and other disc distribution systems.
